A fabulous antique Victorian necklace from the late 1800s adorned with nine floral droppers decorated with four round and five pear cut amethysts with a deep violet hue that contrasts beautifully with an array of bright white pearls.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The floral gallery is fashioned entirely in 15ct gold and branches out to a fine 15ct cable chain fitted with a tube clasp and a new safety chain at the top. It’s a glamorous piece, in excellent condition with a gorgeous collection of gems.
